CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION:

The building that is now known as Canada House was built between 1824 and 1827 and was originally two buildings used by the Union Club and the Royal College of Physicians. Renamed Canada House, the building was officially opened by King George V on 29th June 1925 and today, following a large-scale revitalisation project in 2014, Canada House serves as a showcase of the very best of Canadian art, materials, and modern design elements. The Canadian High Commission represents the interests of the Canadian Government in the UK and provides services to Canadians. The Canadian High Commission is pleased to be a supporter of Never Such Innocence and is honoured to have held an event together in March 2017.

Brigadier-General Matthew Overton, the former Canadian Defence Advisor, kindly sat on the 2015/16 Poetry Competition Judging Panel.
